hello sir, it's an honor to have you on my thread.
you and mr. HWY HNTR are like the w124 heroes of S|W
and I am a big fan of your car.
I am not even gonna complain about roads in Taiwan,
because I have seen what you have to put up with.
by locations of scraping I mean places where I may get stuck.
which most likely to be ancient underground parking lots of Taipei.
thank you for your concerns
My front fender did rub real bad though,
but that's because I had 225s at the front back then.
the problems are long gone.
really glad to hear/read words like this here on this forums, thanks
and if you have any problems or just question about the fitment or anything else, just PM me.

Your car looks great! If you want to lower it more, roll the inside of the rear arches in and then have the arches pulled out with a roller kit. This will potentially give you 1.5" inches extra space so you can definately go lower all round.
PS, do you suffer from the heavy steering symptom?

I have hammered the shit out of the rear arches already, the ghetto way.
professional help with stancing is virtually non-existent in my country.
the rear has gone lower before with no pads...and it will tuck tires slightly with zero rubbing
I am beginning to think that it is sitting too high up,
i'm gonna see if I can score some 1bump pads for the rear
steering is heavy with 18s for sure!
I used to drive an 528i with 18's too
and I can tell you, which ever mid-sized German sedan you choose,
they all drive pretty much the same with 18's on them.
I am kind of used to it

Your planning on running no spring pads? id actually like to do that on my w201 to, as opposed to cutting my lowering springs. Ive heard its not a good idea though, as the spring wont be properly seated and what not.
if you've had experience with it though i'd love to hear about it. Good looking w124 btw.

some say this will cause noises, but not in my case. I have experienced no ill effects at all.
you can always put the pads back on if it does not feel right.
thanks for the compliment!

Love the car, just picked up a set of Monos myself, what tire size are you currently running in those pics? They fit so well!

may not be a aggressive setup, but enough to clear the fenders with no rubbing.Last edited by Johnny1984; 10-09-2011, 04:17 PM.
