  • Blizzak Winter Beaters Coming Soon

In Tokyo at the moment - great place and hope to get some decent pics while I'm here, but the oni camber cars seem to be hiding .

The folks at Adaptec helped me organize a new winter setup, since I never was too attached to the Porsche Ultralight 18s, so I decided I needed something else for winter. A few phone calls and some machine work (to get to 5x108) later, my winters are nearly ready.

4 x 17x9 with 205/40/17 Blizzaks. I had to buy this early, because the supply of 205/40/17 Blizzaks for this Winter are nearly depleted in North America until next year.

Question is should I bolt them up when I get back from Japan next week or wait for November? And yes, they are reps and I don't care.

Thanks to Adaptec and Inland Wheel for helping out with these!

First of all, allow me to say this:

Seeing "Blizzaks" in a thread title started giving me a panic attack. I don't want to put mine back on.

      Second:

      Blizzak stretch? whaaaaaaaaaaaaat

Props for rolling hard even in the dead of winter. Which isn't here yet. And by the amount I'm praying, will never fucking show its face in Illinois again.

Here are a couple more. You can see the redrill and sleeving. The wheels are from Privat (Koenig), so not terrible in terms of no-name-ness.

Only reason I have these photos was because Inland wanted my approval as the stretch looked pretty extreme. Since I have 215/35s now on my 18x10s, I thought this looked kinda tame.

Thanks all. I think I may just need to run them a month earlier than planned

my Kumho 215/35s were painful to get on 10s, but I don't think these were as bad.
