  • welp, my Civic got stolen. Keep an eye out for parts?

Walked out to an empty parking lot this morning My alarm had been acting up on me and my remote fob stopped working yesterday. Last night was the second night I've had to leave the car disarmed overnight in the past 4 months. Whoever got it chose the right night

If you guys happen to see any of this stuff pop up on craigslist in CA anywhere, please let me know. Car was located in San Luis Obispo when it got stolen. These would be the most noticeable parts for sale:

    - JDM D15B engine
    - Function&Form Type 1 coilovers (pic below)
    - Stance Mindset wheels (pic below)
    - B&M dual bend short shifter
    - Kenwood Excelon KDC-X395 head unit
    - Clear/Red JDM style tail lights

or any body parts in this color:

    Thanks guys, I'm bummin

thanks guys. It just sucks that people like this exist. I put soo many hours of work into this car, not to mention a good amount of money too. It's just sad that it's probably getting torn to pieces as I type this. I didn't even have that nice of parts on it, they're gonna make like 2 g's tops. Such a waste. I'm sure in a few weeks it will pop up abandoned in bakersfield with nothing but the shell...

Thoughts and prayers are with you man.

Had my EH2 stolen, stripped and recovered in February of 2009.

Hope they find yours before too long and that the damage is minimal.

            Hope you don't mind.

This happens daily in Houston. Every time I go onto the import forums someone is talking about their Civic getting stolen. GL finding it. We have a saying down here that is simply "Dont drive Civics in Houston" because of the problem.

damn dude, that sucks about your EH2. Mine will probably be a similar outcome, if they even recover it. The cop said that they usually recover the stolen cars in this area but they are usually out in Bakersfield or something. I'm just gonna keep an eye out on craigslist and such.

Hard to swallow, but yeah you usually know way to expect.

My buddy posted an ad about mine on Craigslist and someone emailed him saying they saw my car sitting in a shady apartment complex a state over in Newark, DE.

                  Car was half way stripped.

Thanks to CL we recovered it with a lot of the good parts still in tact.

They cut my perfect black, hard to source, door panels for some $30 Spoon replica mirrors.

They even left the $400+ steering wheel setup.

Also, what are the specs on your wheels? 8" wide?

                    Stance looked good.

I just posted a couple ad's on craigslist. Hopefully it will lead to something.

The wheels were 15x8 +25et. Nearly perfect specs for a civic.

SAME HERE IN DALLAS, it seems like all the sick ones get stolen right after they're built. GL finding you car dude.

Impressive wheel specs... and those things will be very easy to recognize if/whenever the idiots attempt to sell them.

                          What size/brand tires?

None of my parts ever surfaced or were seen.

Had a WW RS front lip that I still have yet to replace.

Yeah, I really doubt they're stupid enough to post up on craigslist. I'm gonna check anyways though.

The tires were 195/50/15 Falken 502's

You'd be surprised at the stupidity of some people.

I'll keep my eyes peeled though mane and hope for the best.

Look me up on Honda-Tech sometime under the same username. I have A LOT of posts over there. LOL.
