hey! fellow white miata owner checkin in'. ive seen your car around. and on club roadster but i got temp banned from there. finally found your thread. i h8te white miata's with white lips and white hard tops, except for yours. something about it works incredibly well. and i was so happy to see the crayon orange wheels too. it was the same day i got my RM's painted up in takata green. by next sunday you wont be the only white one rollin' wide and bright!

as for the paint, did they just throw the spray right overtop of the paint you already had? or did they do any prep work to it. it looks almost toooo good for a maaco job.

last question, i've got rolled fenders with a slight pull. swallowed up my 16x9 et20's without too much difficulty. if i go with the autokonexian flares, think they will do fine with my rm's? (15x9.5 et-6 with 195/45/15)

keep it up. shit looks tight.

                Hahah thanks bro.
They prepped my entire car. The only part I prepped was my trunk lid for that during the process of removing the stickers all the paint started to peel due to my car having the "cancer". It ended up 100x better than I thought for how cheap it was. I get compliments everywhere about it. It just so happens that the 1 Day Paint by my house has very high rated reviews. The manager modifies hot rods so he has some passion in cars, which is definitely a plus.
As for your intended setup, Autokonexion Type 1's will do perfectly for that setup. I'm running 16x9.5 -20 with 205/40 without too much trouble. The reason why I had to run a weather stripping between the flare and body was because I was running track tires with a massive wheel protector. That has been fixed since. Just got an alignment not long ago and -7.5 rear camber is what makes my wheels fit perfectly LOL.

GF's car: she now has lavender wheels to accommodate her rokkor coilovers.

Recent one of me parked underneath Rampage Jackson's truck:

Pic right after paint yob before Lowering it more and redded out tails

Quick interior shit...two buckets are being thrown in son. Interior: roll bar, sat nav/dvd player, mooneyes steering wheel, jdm air freshener from Mitsuwa, custom "titties" sticker cuz throm a few "etnies" stickers, arabic scarf shift boot custom skitched by GF, quick release parking brake, custom ssk, and the headliner has ironic stickers...all black n white..i need a pic of that soon

Car has had no issues since installing Exedy clutch/Fidanza Flywheel. Having JDM car has proven 10x more reliability since owning my M3 and my GF's e36 LOL. For good time's sake, here's the m3 before totaling it:

                  damage:

                    And then this happened:

I got a spontaneous flat tire on the rear passenger side wheel. (I took off the front flares to facilitate mobility on and off wood). The bead dismounted and my sidewall became severed like lose-leaf paper in a shredder. I rode on rim for a few feet until I got to the side of the road and had my homies come over and help my line up 2x4 by 2x4 to drive my car to the tire shop parking lot driving the naked wheel on the wood. Thankfully I got new tires the next day. Definitely a moment of worry.
This car is back in mint shape other than the rear r-package lip. From constant mashing on speedbumps and reversing it up slopes it has cracked a billion times due to its brittle composition. It is still fully painted, it is just held on by a hefty number of ziptie stitches. It gives the car character. Ziptie surgery ftw. I need a picture of that too as well as the all red tail lights I have now.

Most recent one (5 minutes ago) It's a little high looking in the picture but it is indeed not at its lowest state. I will re-slam it once I get a skidplate. I know it's blurry AF:

And the car is up for trade for an s13...

Do it man. My wheels are up for trade for something with a 14 or 15 inch diameter for that I want to run something wider than what I have now as well as something that I can run this low with if not, lower without having to put up with the rubbing on the top of my wheel well. I might just dremel out some stuff to make it not rub up top when I make it drag frame with 16s.

yeah man my car has the peeling paint too. ive been holding off on a respray since we dont have cheaper places around me. only bling bling (which is not what i want). but one of my good friends is taking the full autobody tech courses, and approached me for wanting to do my car up in the spring for the class project. which means 3k+ paint job for just cost of materials!

im gonna see if i can fit the wheels under the stock fenders first. if i can massage them enough to not cause bacon fenders (like my old e28) then i'll pick up the flares... but here's a teaser for now.

also, it looks perfect at the height as is man. i wouldn't lower it even more just for the sake of "being even lower". dont turn into a fabel and crunch your clean fenders and stuff. go low enough that it looks sexy as fuck, but not enough to assrape the car into oblivion.

your car is new inspiration. got any hd pictures so i can flood the background picture of my desktop?
