          Concerning the lows: i think some of those guys would like to be way lower, but the TÜV is everywhere. And it hates low cars.

            This. Plus the fact that you have to get just about every modification TÜV approved, which can cost silly money. And also, most often times, parts that were not originally intended for this car are really hard to get TÜV approved.

            I'm looking forward to getting my Touring TÜVed soon... way too low for legal standards and running wheels that were never ever intended for the e36

                    We were in England this year.
