I also think if the wheels were a couple shades darker silver, like almost a gunmetal tint to them, it would look HAWT.

Wow. I like everything about this! Style 32s are definitely my favorite OEM wheel. They look great on your coupe!

Paint the chrome on the grills to match whatever shade of grey you get on the wheels. Drop maybe 1/2 inch more in the front and put on small spacers. It'll be my favorite e46 non-M.
