  • Slammed Dinan S/C E46 M3 on a Dyno

So I went to a dyno day today held by the BMWCCA NC Chapter in Mt Airy MD.

There were some really nice cars, but stance wise and overall drool factorness was definitely this charged E46 M3.
It put down 286rwhp IIRC on Dynodynamics which translates to 392hp at the crank.

My car put down 214rwhp (the goods: fdm, no cats, gutted muffler, the bad: exhaust leak, old plugs, old oil, clogged fuel filter). Translates to 293hp at the crank. Quite happy.

Here are some pics I got of it. Enjoy.

Full thread with more pics of other cars and videos here:

And here few pics of mine:
First pic was at a stop on the way to Maryland when driving from Canada.

dude seriously? I don't see ANY straps on them cars, while I would assume that was due to no loss hp for having them torqued down.....still scary imho lol
nice numbers all the same, jsut make sure you DO NOT stand in front of any car on their dyno...

I'm a bit disappointed with the HP numbers of that E46, but both cars are pretty awesome.
stanceworks: I don't really fit in.

Agreed, that car isn't slammed, but it does look really nice.

lol 214rwhp translates to like 240 to the crank bro. Or in other words, a stock E36 M3
And what is wrong with the E46? Stock E46 M3s dyno around 280rwhp.

Ok the car is not "slammed" Tough crowd. If he was any lower he'd be scraping everything. I don't think if you drove that car you would drive stupidly low.

As for the steering wheel he had it custom done, it's the stock one but modified and reupholstered.

And for those who can appreciate the car for what it is and the pics for what they are thanks.
