satin & flatz are becoming dated but that's not to say anything should be changed because of trends. I would say to have the wheels gloss though & if they already are, then the same color in a deep pearl or extreme amount of clearcoats to what you already have.

just throwin' out some feedback. regardless, the wagon looks great. my favorite pic would have to be the last one in the rain.

theres a difference between spray can jobs and legit matte paint jobs/vinyl wraps, do not confuse them.

in any event i actually really like whats been done here

The wheels are gold powdercoat with a clear powdercoat, they're not changing anytime soon. I do appreciate the feedback though. But like Jesus said, you may have this confused with a rattlecan job, which this is not. It's single stage flat paint. With lots of pearl. Sprayed from a real paint gun.

        Thanks Jesus

I know. I also know you only meant to help. Either way, like I had said matte/flatz are on their way out . . . but now I sound like I'm coming down on the car which I never was. so, I'll just leave this thread alone.

I know. sorry it was taken wrong. car looks great & I would have never dismissed this car as a mere rattlecan job; it looks too well done for such a silly comment. but like I said, I'll just leave this thread alone.

no need to leave it alone lol, just thought you confused it with a rattlecan job.

i think matte colors being out is your opinion, which you are entitled to. i dont think its a fad so it cant be "out"

I could, but the fender would sit on the tire. As it is, it rubs on the front part of the rear fender, something grate plates could fix, but they're hard to come by now, and they didnt actually make anything for a direct fit for passat. If I have someone else in the car with me, or anything in the back, it leaves a nice rubber build up on that part of the fender
