i can never decide on racks. one week i have one on, the next i dont. i have 4 different attachments that i actually use lol, so i figured id try shooting with the rack and see how it came out
To be honest im 50/50 on racks aswell, I generally **** them when they are not in use, but if they are actually there for a purpose rather then for super awesome cool points then I can dig it.

i also have a ski/snowboard rack but that doesnt get used often. the perks of working at a subie dealership.. used cars
found a road closed for construction too.. the car can still go
I think he's just saying it'd be easier to swap the parts than to wrap them. Maybe.
,
i have a vinyl wrap shop in orlando and we do hoods roofs and trunks in carbon fiber 3m film all the time. its as mike said previously Aesthetics, of course if you got the money for the real stuff for High performance CF panels do it, but for a fraction of the price all the while protecting body panels you cant go wrong. but im guessing this car is more about stance and aesthetics than weigh reductions to gain second cractures of time on a 1/4 mile..
i had a cheap $30 CF wrap from pepboys to see how i liked it, and it wasn't for me. as far as real CF there isn't anything available for the foresters. when my work picks back up, and i can get the cash ill get the hood paint matched. its just pricey because of the pearl in the clear coat
