Brought Nancy for a ride into the meadows

Let me first off introduce my car, Nancy.


She is classy yet trashy.









I used to be heavy into vw's but fwd sucks.





To explain the title:



haha. I am not done building her yet. I got a cage this past weekend,which will be goingin soon. I will be redoing the front suspension to get some more travel and going to weld in some camber correction plates for the rear. Once all that is done I will make my way down to ocean city for h20i and then tearing her down for the engine transplant..

Big thanks to Bear from Floss Filthy for coming over with the gopro and getting me to take her out for some action. My buddy Bah-bo has over 200 stills to go through still and I will post them later on.

Looks sick! How'd you get your hood like that? It almost looks more how copper rusts or oxidizes, as apposed to just a rusted out hood.

The previous owner took a angle grinder to the hood and trunk and then sprayed them flat black. I looked for new pieces that were the correct color so I just let them sit out side while I worked on the car. They started to rust on their own from weather to I went to the craft store bought copper based paint and the antiquing solution. Painted them as is staying light on the rust areas knowing it would pop out when the solution was applied.

Like everything but the hood, just not my cup of tea.

What's it lowered on?

bilstein struts/shocks and custom coilovers. Front has 0 travel and I ordered some new parts to redo it.

No swap yet, I narrowed it down to two possibilities and will be choosing/doing one this upcoming winter. yes 16" rs's. It is a volvo lip that I chopped several ways to fit.
