Cheers for the positive comments on the WHEELS/RIMS.
Really happy with the outcome so far. I'll be even happier when they're properly finished.
Re-paint and some new 205/45's to give it a little more ground clearance.

Getting fed up of scaring the s*** outta my GF every time I hit a cats-eye and need the extra profile so I can get the car into the car park at work. It's getting awkward/embarrassing/difficult/time-consuming parking down a busy road when there's a private car park for my company outside.

Wasn't particularly happy with it at DC. Liked the RC's but they weren't doing it for me.
I saw your car there too. Looked good on the Futura's man.

Cheers dude. I f***ing love your 135i. The SSR's are utter porn.

They're MIM's. Not sure which model but VERY similar to RUF CTR Yellowbird wheels (AKA RUF Speedline's).
Although nowhere near as much dish on the rear.

Yeah, it was a bit of a whim. I was looking for some other splits and these popped up.
Guy wanted to do a straight swap for the RC's with a bit of cash my way. Made the right choice I think!

I'll be down at the next SW:UK meet whenever it is...?

Hayden is organising one down in Bournemouth at the end of August, other than that I don't know when now. I suppose we should look into another at some point.

If you've owned an Audi before and know what you want then by all means go for it, however if it'll be your first then imo (cue flame squad) get another beemer if you have to change up. Quattro's only provide a little fun in the wet (traction aplenty) otherwise I'd even take a 4 cylider e30 over a Quattro (4,6,8 cylinder, turbo or n/a) purely because they just drive so much better!

Yep. Sold that a couple of years ago for a 318is.

No worries. I know they aren't to everyone's taste.
The BBS were nice, but not what I really wanted. Plus, they were all 7.5J wide which means no aggressive fitment as no tyres gave a good enough stretch.

Yeah mate, it was. Thanks, really like the MIM's at the moment.
Tempted to go all boring and get them colour-matched to the bodywork. Less "IN-YO-FACE!" really.

Looking at TT Quattro 225's. A little more frugal on fuel, and a bit more modern than the E36.
More niceties and mod-cons and the prices have dropped loads here in the UK. Around £5k for a very good model with around 60k-70k mileage.

Only alternative is an E46 330ci but they've usually got more mileage and fancy a change from the BMW scene.
