  • Story of my budgeted sedan [ pictures ]

Hi, my name is Julien and this is my '93 boston green sedan. I've owned it for almost 3 years now, and I figured it was finally worthy to post here. I'm on a tight student budget

When i first got it :

Bought some style 66 wheels 17x8 et20 for 400$ with rubber and painted my grills

Painted my lowers black and bought some smoked corners for 10$

    Painted my tail lights

    Installed rokkor coilovers

Bought new rubber for the wheels, 215 40 17 all around and fitted a HD lip and the roofrack

In the meantime, i've changed my control arms, redid my cooling system + fan delete mod, got hit by a car and fixed the fender... and did some other bits. This is a very slow build hence the tight budget! Rolled fenders and more lows are in the plans, Comments are welcome!

Nice progress so far! I think colormatching the lower black parts of the bumpers and the rockers would make it look a whole lot cleaner - and you can do this yourself successfully if you know how to handle a spray can!
Wheels are nice, not diggin the roof rack though!

The respray on the bottom turned out great, gave the car a much needed refresh.

Thanks guys, i think i prefer the black lowers to color matched ones... and you can fix rock chips or scrape marks easily if needed, but the paint is holding pretty well thus far!

x2, I'm surprised at how much it cleaned it up. For being on a budget this is a pretty nice looking e36. I love this color on sedans.
