  • Pic Request: E34 Stanced on 18"

    Yeah.

Anyone got some pics of E34s stanced on 18s?
Preferably OEM 18s, or anything in 8x18/9x18 staggered.

Thanks guys, I know some of you can satisfy my curiosity.

This'll be tough. Haven't seen many on 18's.

    Here's one dumped on 17's...

I'll keep my eye out because I want to see this too.

Yeah those look like 18s. Not really stanced though, but thanks anyway.

Asking because I may be looking at an E34 soon to replace my E36.

The one I may be looking at is completely stock, sitting on 8x18 and 9x18 Style 5s.

I'm also looking at replacing it with another E36, but finding a good 323 or 328 sedan is really hard as it turns out. I do have a few I want to look at, but they all have something against them (ridiculous price, already modded which i don't want or the wrong color or generally bad condition).

The current 320i will be sold, though. The engine is starting to show more and more problems lately (problems started showing up in the last two weeks more and more) and I think a repair would be quite costly and since I want a bit more power as well, the option is to either do an engine swap or find a new car. I'm opting for finding a new car as I don't really have the place, time and tools to do an engine swap. Also, I would def. want a respray of the car since the paint is pretty much fucked, and that's pretty pricey as well. Getting a new one makes more sense, imo.

            /edit:

Here's two pics of the E34 I want to look at. This thing is pretty sick. 525i 24V from 1995, 148.000km, 8x18 / 9x18 Style 5s, a/c, m-technic steering wheel, partial leather seats and so on, it's got a pretty good configuration as well.

Pretty sure both those guys are running NEX Coilovers with 2" cut from the strut housings, so that's going to be one of the lower setups you can get. I know GC's can go low as well. Not sure exactly how low they have the coils adjusted though.

Oh, and damn, that e34 is clean man. I say go for it. I'm itching to pick up an m50 powered manual one but timing is terrible right now.

Apart from the first one in that post, I don't like any of them. The first one is uber sick, tho.

What are some usual wheel and tire sizes and offsets people run on stanced E34s?
Just want to get a feel for what's possible without too much work on the fenders, rolling is acceptable, pulling is a no go.

Okay, yeah, I did some research myself and found quite some interesting E34s.

Not only 18s, but you get the point.

I'll look at the one I posted above, I'm lusting after E34s now.

I'll provide specs where I have them:

                          9x18 / 11x18 Schnitzers

                          9.5x18 ET9 +14mm spacers / 11.5x18 ET0 +5mm spacers
                          225/40 and 265/30

                          8.5x18 / 9.5x18

                          8x18 / 9.5x18
                          235/35 and 265/30

                          Same car with 17s:
                          9.5x17 / 10.5x17
                          225/45 and 255/40

                          9x17 / 10x17
                          225/45 and 225/40
