Noob E30 M3 OEM+

Hello Folks!
I'm Rob and I have a 88 E30 M3 that needs new tires bad!
The stock ones are too meaty and this car has the stance and flushness,just needs tires.
I'm on 16in BBS RS 16X8 front & 16X9 rear and have 225/45/16's on it now.
What tires sizes should I get? I was thinking 205/40/16 Falken 452's or Nitto Invos in the same size.Also forgot to mention 20mm F&R H&R Trak+ spacers.

i looked on tyrestrech.com and i wanna strech and poke but,I wanna keep the handling/performance and nimbleness to a max but still have steeze!
Holler and lmk what should i go with as far as tires.

i think you are correct with the 205/40r16 sizing. i had some dunlop direzzas in that size on 16x8 and they were great!

Stretching and poking and having handling and performance wont work too well.
I would suggest two sets of wheels, one to swag out on the street and a set for
those back road adventures and track.
