  • Can somebody tell me more about this car?

i saved these pictures from a thread somewhere a long time ago, and now that i have an ek sedan i'd like to make mine look like this.

so can anybody tell me anything about this car?

what suspension setup, wheel size/offset, tire size etc. or show me the thread they originally came from would be great, thanks!

I can recommend you stuff, with no knowledge at all about this car.

    Suspension
    Koni/GC
D2 (I have these on my DC and I love them)
    Function and Form Type 2

    Wheels
16x8 et 19 is just about perfect, you can do your own wheel math from there depending on what widths you want

    Suggestion
Don't do widened steelies, for the price you pay you could find some awesome wheels for cheap that look a million times better.

16x9 so you can stretch a 195/45 or 205/40 on there.

x8 with 205 or 195 = meh. Depends how aggressive you need your fitment.

cant you order the diamond racing wheels in custom sizes? or are they still $400 a set when you do that? any idea what tire size i would have to run for them to stretch like that?

i wouldnt even need it to be as aggressive as the car in the pictures to make me happy but having it like that wouldnt hurt either

You definitely can, just takes some searching, and when I got DRWs priced out last year it was 500 before shipping and tires. You can definitely find a nice set of wheels for 700 with tires.

You can, but they don't do 9" wide for some reason.

But that's what you said you wanted... How about saying what you want, instead of saying one thing and then changing your mind.

Agreed. 9s wouldn't be an issue at all. i'd do 9.5s.

no shit sherlock. that goes for anything. the general consensus about steel wheels is that they are awful.
