  • Seafoam'd The E-DurtySix

Ya so the video is a tad bit long, you probably are going to want to skip through some of my retarded commentary. Anyway, I did the best I could on kinda making this a DIY. I made it a little bit difficult for myself by not just pulling out the other side of the brake booster line. That would have eliminated the need for the straw. Anyways haha here is the video.

Oh and my school had a half day of school, but the public HS down the road from my house didn't. My friend told me about this car and I decided to swing by and check it out.

Seafoam makes me nervous. There's no way it can like rubber.

I seafoam'd my E28 not too long ago. Didn't notice too much of a difference, but I'm sure it cleaned a ton of gunk out of my engine.

Straight from their site it says Seafoam is purely a petroleum product, so as long as you don't let it suck too much in through the vacuum line, it's all good.

It made a noticeable difference in my car. Startup feels stronger and I feel more power in the midrange for sure.

haha I highly recommend it! You can grab it at any autoparts store. What I would do is throw a can in your oil about 100 miles before you plan on changing it. And then suck one can into the intake like I did. Some people put it in the gas to clean their fuel system but some say you have to replace your injectors after you do it and I had just replaced mine so I didn't.

Just curious, why did you do injectors before manifold?

Because I got a deal on them I couldn't refuse and because I am picking up a M50 kit either this month or next so the order didn't really matter to me too much.

I have yet to SeaFoam a car. I'm 21, had 4 cars, and still haven't had the balls to do it.

The 633 might be the guinea pig. I'm sure it needs it, after XXX,XXX miles. Thanks odometer.
