  • Eurosunday 2011 in Landen, Belgium

    Yeah,

yesterday we went to Belgium for Eurosunday 2011.

It was a really good show, very high quality of cars there. Some familiar faces from some message boards and lots of new cars. All in all the trip really paid of.

Sadly, we had to park outside the show area as it had to be closed down because of the amount of cars. I think it was filled with around 800 cars when they closed it down. A few hundred more filled up the surrounding streets. I'm sure the residents loved us.

The organisators couldn't have known it would be such a turnout, so it's all good. On their facebook I read that they have had some people even insulting them because of not making room for more, etc. To those people I have only one thing to say: do it better, then you can talk shit about the hard work that was obviously put into this show.

All in all it was a success and we'll be attending again in 2012 for sure! I hope I can bring my Touring then...

    A lil' teaser:

Bigger sizes in the gallery, of course.

The Fisheye was a necessary evil. Apart from the fisheye I currently only own a few 50mm primes - and there was no room for working with these at the show.

And one from the way home...

                hi there,
Being the organisator from eurosunday.be i would like to thank you for driving over and pay us a visit
Like you mentioned,we where overfull so we coudn't park all cars unfortunatly
Thanks for the understanding and hope to see you next year
We'll search a bigger location so we can park 1000-1500 cars for the next edition
Thanks for you kind words,we do apreciate that after all the shit people talk but they don't realise what it is to organise a show off this size

I kinda liked the location, something different then a large open space filled up with cars. Sadly, it just wasn't big enough.

                  Couple of pics i snapped:

Haha, so it WAS you I spotted rolling out of the show ground just when we came in. I thought that Touring looked familiar.

Despite not having enough space, and the kinda sucky weather, it was a great show. Loved the location and I hope you can come up with an as great location that's just a bit bigger for next year!
As Bastien already mentioned, those people that insulted you about the too small location don't know a bit, if they could make it better, they wouldn't have to yell and insult... so just fuck them.

Really looking forward to next year

                      Meanwhile, have some pics:

                        Yes it was .
We where there early, walked the show 3 times and decided it was time to go.
I'll be back next year tho.

^^^This set the bar too high for me. Everything after it was nice but that's the illest thing there to me.
stanceworks: I don't really fit in.

That thing (Opel Rekord Coupe btw), the old S-Class on bags (insane trunk setup, 6 compressors) and the bagged E21 were actually my favourites. I need something old and low in my life.
