i told my friend that, and the first thing he asked was "spit or no spit?"
i guess today i got fucked in the ass with spit, since it could've been worse (like, you know, if the tire spontaneously combusted after popping it's bead. or if both motor mounts simultaneously failed and the motor fell off. that would be hilarious haha)
so i've been sick with the flu all week and i was too lazy to do my twice monthly tire camber wear/psi check... and i blew a tire. this is what... the 3rd time since i've had the car? it's a regular thing now and i should be prepared. shame on me =P
so this is what it looked like before today:

and here are some shitty photos i took during my ordeal today:

right after this photo was taken, the wood block the car's rolling on took out the rear bumper. nice.

maybe i should try to pull off the flush wheel, but square tire look next?

yay!

this is how i'm rolling now - 17x7.5 +40-something with a 225/55(!)/17.

the fender gap is so huge it absorbs all light.

and that's how i'm going to be driving it all this week.
thanks for listening, haha.
i have a new pair of nankangs in the same size coming this week; hopefully they're just slightly narrower than the federals that were on there previously, so i can run slightly less camber for a bit more poke. and maybe i'll lower it just a tad more after i get the tires on and the bumper remounted. what do you guys think? more poke in the rear? or more tuck? haha
