Hahah I agree. My car isn't mint but it gets driven and will get some paint lovin' eventually. Just enjoying the car for the time being and working on my other project which will be a super clean ride.

Hahah thanks dude. Ive been wanting to do it for years and it really surprises me how few minitrucks there are out there with fitment. That was partly my motivation. I'm hoping to see more minis with smaller and wider wheels, some stretch and fender work. 16s and 17s would look AWESOME on a d21 with radiused fenders. Even wide 15s or 14s would work. What I really wanna see is someone rocking 15x15s with boso fenders!!

The truck just has a typical c-notch, 4 link, bag set up. Nothing special at all, pretty old school and pieced together. I had it set up to ride fairly low though at pretty high PSIs so it wouldn't rub. Not a huge amount of lift but I never saw the point of a lot of lift. 16x10s +0 all around with 225/45s. The truck is actually gone to fund my next project- vip y33.

I've only met Ollie once, but I can say that he was a really chill guy to hang out with. talk to, even as I fawned over his car like a little school girl.

Congrats on the feature, Ollie. The Hardbody looks AMAZING. (Do I even need to bring up the E36?)

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

Always liked your car, you seem like a cool dude who I'd probably be good friends with.

Great write up, too. I'll have to agree meeting the people is the best part. I've made countless friends because of cars, most of the people I talk to now don't even live in the same state as me. It's crazy how cars and "fitment" can bring people together.

Thanks dude and ya gotta update the sig asap. The wheels need a good polish so thats why they always look dirty. That and because they are usually pretty dirty lol I'm over mesh wheels for a little while.

I got a bunch of pics of the hardbody laying around that I'll probably throw up in a new thread later this week

where did you find the wheels on the d21? Little to choose from with 6 lug. Not to mention, a 4" center bore...

They're diamond racing wheels and I know 6 lug is a bitch. Your best luck with d21s are checking yahoojapan as they have a few decent 6 lug wheels on there with nice specs or custom like diamond racing. The white wheels are for sale if anyone's interested.
