  • almost there..

Hey guys..i haven't been on here in quite a while. I recently got my first set of wheels put together and on the car. I had them for about a year before i get around to getting everything done. Biggest thanks to 2 of my best friends Corey and Bill for helping me get them done. Also need to thank my friend Asim for getting the lips polished up for me. The car is just about where i want it..some things might change over the next few years, but nothing too drastic probably..i'm really happy with it the way it is right now.

Anway onto the pics..specs and other info after the pics.

They are Rial Daytonas. 18x8.5 ET30 all around. 15mm rear spacers and 12.5mm front spacers. So final ets of 15 in the back and 17.5 in the front. The centers were done with Duplicolor Mirage (magenta/gold) color shifting paint. I haven't had free time on a nice sunny day to capture some better pics of the centers whille the wheels are on the car. The tires are Nankang AS-1s. 205/40/18 all around. Anyway, hope you enjoyed.

Thanks. Honestly, i'm very happy with the rears. I was going to do 5mm more in the back, but i wanted to try it the way i have it now first (because i had the 15mm rear spacers already) and go from there so i didn't have to buy another set of spacers. I might add a little more down the line we'll see. The fronts are pretty spot on (at least on the drivers side). The passenger side for whatever reason is sucked in a few extra mm...also MK4s never sit even for some reason (at least mine doesn't). The passenger side is like a good 3/4in higher (and the coil is spun all the way down). I'm thinking about adding a 5mm spacer in the front to even it out a bit..i'm not sure yet though on that either. Also, yes, it's static. Drive it everyday at that height. I do about 34 miles a day just back and forth to work...i'm going to park it for a while soon though. Finally getting a second car. 96 caddillac deville.
