I now own Peter's old LS400! Casey absolutely ruint the car but ive been working on it a lot and its slowing coming back to wht it should be!
Just wondering what Casey did to ruin it? Come on let us in on the secret. I liked the old wheels better, just my oppinion, not my car so whatever makes you happy.
Thnx guys, I really love the new wheels but Casey had it tucking rim which is the way to go... but he doesnt kno anything about fenders or pulling or stancing r anything pretty much. For those of u who say it at IA u kno wht im tlking about lol. The new wheels r 20x10 up front and 20x11 out back... im pretty sure he attempted to pull/destroy the fenders with a crow bar stuck between the tire and fender and just pulling up. one of them looked like a dog had chewed on it and the two front fenders r completely torn in to different parts. When it was seen at IA tht was after about 5 hours of metal work. I still have some pulling to do for turning issues in the front and then i just have to lay a thin coat of bondo to smooth it out and prime and paint them! He had busted a hole in the oil pan, broken the front grill on the car and some other little things tht i have already replaced. I have put a 15" L7 comp Kicker in it 12k HID's and thts about it so far, I'm deff ready to c the car come back together completely though and hope to be making some more websites with it lol
I litterally got all teary eyed when he drove off. If I had the money to have kept it and buy a gas saver, I would have. I hesitate to say.... I traded for a Kouki S14. Needs work, but what drift car doesn't? I'm the kind of owner that fixes every single issue before adding cool point parts, so it will take a while, but it will be super rad in the end.
Thanks for the awesome shots Matt
I know Casey the guy you bought it from, and you built a really clean car. Do you still own the kouki? Because that was my single favorite built car ever.
yeah that car ended up with a set of bmw x5 wheels on it, the 20s, and the fenders got F**KED. I think the car is in Kentucky or Virginia now, a good buddy of mine who I roll around with owned it, and traded for a kouki with an RB25 in it. ill post a pic of that lex with the x5 wheels on it
