You said the paint is in terrible shape, yet you love the colour. Is the paint faded, swirls, scratched..etc? Can the original paint be saved?!

No, the original paint can't be saved, I plan on re-spraying it way down the line. The issue is the clear coat, it's totally gone on the roof and trunk, and going ont he hood. It's also flaking on the driver's side doors. Pretty typical old BMW paint shit. It's also got the crows-footing old BMW paint does.

If you wanted to keep that euro only body color, I know some guys in Virginia that could very well get the paint for you.
