  • New Ride for the 2010 Season

As some of you know I race cars around the US and just landed a deal for the 2010 season. I'll be racing in Grand Am Koni Challenge in a brand new Camaro prepped for the GS class built by Riley Technologies. The car uses an LS3 motor that is fully balanced and blueprinted for race use along with a Tremee close ration 6-spd trans. Should make a little north of 400whp in race trim and weigh in around 3200lbs thanks to heavy use of composites throughout the body. Powered by Bosch engine management and Motec Data. Here are some shots from Riley of the racecar, I'll be in chassis #007.

Wow! I'd love to talk to you about this sometime. I have always wanted to be able to do something like this while in my youth, and I have had dinner with some of the TRG guys, and I was really interested in the path you took to get where you are now! Car looks cool as hell! I guess it will be good competition for the mustangs haha!

See if you can smuggle a few Stanceworks stickers onto the livery, haha

Thanks guys, and I'll post videos when I can of the car. We should be testing it for Daytona here in December on the west coast. In all reality this car isn't too far off from the Jetta. Both cars are production based racecars, so no tube-frames here, both were about the same weight, just one is front-drive compared to rear-drive. The Jetta actually uses better tires and better brakes in comparison to the Camaro as well, it will be interesting but I think we have a shot at the top of the podium several times this year.
