History: I got the car from my mom, she made me a promise when I was a kid that if I did well in high school, she'll get me a car I wanted. Too bad the market went down and this was all she could afford. I've looked at other cars before this one but it was new and she wanted me to drive a semi-new car, not fast and made from japan. I could of got a RSX, Civic, or integra like every Filipino kid I know but my mom knew I loved Evos so we picked up this Lancer, for it looked similar to the Evo X and was affordable. 10k worth. I told my mom we didnt have to get a new-ish car but she insisted cuz I worked hard for it. I could of easily got something else but to my mom it meant a lot that she got the car for me.

Yo Kielan, you lil Filipino kid

This sentence alone screams 'ungrateful brat' to me.

Apart from that, the car brings a nice starting point to the table. I'm not a fan of the wheels. You need some legit wheels in ~10x18 for example, that would be tits. The 17s would only work if you'd put that thing really on the ground.

There are a lot of people who seem to have forgotten what SW is about. OP: We've all been in your situation, and I admire that you appreciate the car so much, even though it wasn't truly what you wanted. Modifying a car is a learning process, and though the Lancer isn't 100% perfect, you're off to a good start in a lot of areas. Sure, you may not be on $4k wheels, but the ones you have on there look good. I'll never have an issue with building a car on a budget; and you seem to be coming around as far as taste goes.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

        Your blast pipes look stupid.

thanks, I appreciate it but ****** gonna **** though. I really dont want to argue with them cuz I know what they're talking about but then again they could of used better criticism.

oh and to the '******' "The ruthless are untamed beasts, devouring and terroizing the vulnverable. They dont know of their works, for addiction runs deep in their souls and yielding to their actions is impossible. One to deal with the beasts must have impertubable ground, for argueing is like feeding a fire. Agitation of the beasts is a fragile matter and must be dealt with impeccable words of actions...."

^ haha so true man. Can't wait to see the progress on the car def off to an awesome start! Nobody automatically knows everything about stance when they buy a car lol. It takes time and lots of experimentation and I can tell you are workin' hard at it. Don't worry, the hard work will pay off!

HAD to be done. I think something happened to your garage though man

and stop using your age as an excuse. I'm 18 and drive a stanced car, that I paid for. It's called more work, less play.

i'm not using my age, I'm a full time student and work 16 hours a week. And the last time I remembered work is done with education, yes my mom bought my car but I worked for it just like I agreed with her. Maybe you didn't read that, but I do pay for everything that needs to be done with the car. idk where ur from but everything in Cali is expensive.

anyone can make their car have stance, but theres key factors in life that inhibit you from just doing it so easily. I can work everyday and afford what I want for my car but I dont, everyone has a life. Dont think from one stand point of view.

a little ticked off thats all. Seems like I cant get any useful information on this forum cuz everyone wants to pick on the newb. Give me info about getting better not your fuken remarks on how you live your life thats being compared to mine. Everyone has different lives and different views on how they live their life. I was explaining to that one guy, that my life has it's difficulties and why does he get to say "i'm 18, i paid for my own car...." when the matter fact is that he can't generalize his life with mine. If he knew me, then ok he can say what he wants. But he doesn't, you dont see me trolling around here criticizing your life, the forum is about cars not a day how someone is better than you. give me info on how my car can improve, not look down on it. Anyways what do you know about the Lancers anyway? I hear all this talk but no info you know about it. I'm pretty sure I'm one of the few that's knowledgable about this car, if I'm wrong then say something about it.
