Speaking of engines. Did Rusty's Toyota engine go up in flames as well? From what you can see on the pictures it doesn't look as it it was stored in the garage?

This means you have to use the engine that killed Rusty to create the next car...

Seeing this car evolve from a stock schwarz 535i to a hand-built icon was wonderful. Good to know everyone is physically unharmed.

Best of luck to you Mike... and as my dad always said 'Don't fall in love with anything that can't love you back!'

Looking forward to your future project(s)!

I never got to meet Rusty Slammington.

I posted in the thread on BF.c and Facebook... glad no one was seriously hurt and something else (like your house) didn't go up.

I never got a chance to see Rusty in person, but like everyone knows from one idea to another, this car was an icon. Sad that he had to go this way, but like everyone else said glad to hear that everyone made it out okay. Sorry to hear about this though

Good luck with the next build, Mike. Truly an epic car and I think one that will be remembered around car circles for decades. Fortunately nothing happened to the E36 in the blaze and you still have one piece of automotive artwork in the stable.

I'm sure you'll surprise everyone with something come H20i time.
