There's nothing i could say that hasn't already been said.
so with that, i'm really glad that you're okay, and there were no human casualties. Cars cannot be replaced in the sense that there will never be another Rusty unless some twist of fate allows you to rebuild it, but the impact that he and you left on all of us will never be forgotten.
I'm glad you have a positive outlook, your creativity and desire to push the envelope has not been lost with this tragic event, and i know for a fact that anything you touch will turn to gold, you just have that talent.
Keep your head up Mike. You're much more than a cool-looking, rusted out BMW.
Damn Mike, so sorry to hear this dude. I've more or less been on SW since it's start, and I remember first seeing the car on hellaflush's website (back when it was black w/ a rusted hood and a boom box on the roof rack!) and a quick bit about the new website that has now acquired an unimaginable fan base. I've been here to witness the build in it's entirety, and to say it was inspiring would be an understatement. The car will truly be missed not only by yourself, but by all of your avid followers who can only dream of building a car that oozes with sheer character in the way that Rusty did. But that being said, i'm happy to hear that your ok......and i'm intently waiting on seeing what's in store next. Like the age old saying goes....."What ever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger". RIP Rusty.
Rusty had a huge impact on a lot of people, it was an amazing car. But it's more important that no one was hurt in this accident. Very sorry to hear about this.
Good luck to you, and I can't wait to see what is next!
Damn I really didn't expect Rusty to end up like this. Sorry for your loss man.
A lot of people ***** this car but I think more loved it because it stood as reminder for people to not be afraid to do your own thing and get creative with YOUR car. I know it will be missed.
