Thanks for all the kind words everyone! well its been forever since ive updated this thread.
So heres kind of a start to finish how she started to where she is at now. pleaaaaseee exuse some photos as i was young and had really no taste in modding cars.

So bought her back in 07 brand spanking stock off the dealer lot with 9 miles on the OD. she pretty much looked like this:

              picture upload sites

So i tried to modify what i could with being in high school and on a high school budget and did the black trip and heres where i would say she went through her awk years.....

it doesn't get a lot better....

So i went i would say my first year of college like this aimlessly adding mods and not knowing where to take my car till the stance scene started hitting the local forums i was on M|U and i saw how a mini could really look once it was done correctly and i started on my long road to adding small quality not quantity mods to the car. Inspiration

the first step was pulling off all the tacky mods and stickers i had done so far. i was then able to pick up this JCW stage 2 front end from Vik, another fellow mini owner who was parting out his super clean alpine white mini. the second pic shows the work so far in getting the mini some what in an acceptable state.

As for finding wheels, luckly my search ended when a dear friend of mine was parting out his mini and i was able to pick up his amazing set of Volk VR-x10's. They are 17x8.5 fronts 17x9.5 rears stretched on falken 205/40 and 215/40.

Coilovers were then added 2 weeks later and was able to go with Vmaxx coilovers.

Then the control arms came in so i could add more camber to the rears

During this time, our mini group really started getting into gear and were were having weekly to bi-weekly meets at my place working on the minis trying new mods. these were the good ole days before everyone started selling their minis and moving onto bigger and somewhat more practical cars.

Took another year to dial the car down lower and lower and get acquainted with a low car; but she was finally made it. all the cars that i saw on the forums. the countless hours spent on the computer looking at car shows and dreaming about showing there as well one day, the time finally came.

Now, im sure everyone has been through this, i was in college and was dropping a lot of money in mods here and there and paying for car show entrance frees and still living at home while going to school. my mom, being an Asian mother, was constantly telling me to stop spending so much money on the car. to which i responded after this last mod....... so if i had been a good son, and listened to mother, the story would end here buttttt.... it doesnt lol....at this point i looked at other things i could possibly do to the car and after sitting in my friends recaros, i was hooked on getting seats for the car. i was able to pick up sponsorship with Corbeau and got a set of Fx1 Pros as well as belts and pads.

At this point, the car modding was put on hold because of a broken trans /: the valve body on minis is the Aisin 6 and has been plagued with problems. the reason why miniusa keeps putting them in thier cars is beyond me. dealship wanted $9k to replace the trans which i did not have so i tried my hand and transmission work.

$4k later and a total rebuild, she was back on the road!

after recovering from that fiasco, was able to pick up an NRG short hub and quickrelease as well as a sparco steering wheel.

Next came the JCW rear bumper for the car as well as the Challenge diffusers

And now it brings us to where she is now. Installed a front splitter, and installed hood vents.

              upload pictures online

Plans for the future are to install a roll bar as well wrapping the car in Tiffany Blue. so stay tuned for the next set up updates and please leave a comment, constructive criticism, or a message if you enjoyed the story! thanks for reading!
