Stance looks good I don't know what your talking about. If you poked anymore it would be just aggressive. It looks perfect how it sits honestly. Good job man

Thanks for all the positive feedback!

Although BBS LM (or LM knock offs) are just classic on the E39, I really want to get something on there with a larger lip.

Something like iForged Daytona or Equip I think would look real sick, Work VS-XX are an obvious choice (mesh style + rivets and lip = win). It is just hard to find wheels that will fit the E39's offsets well. The hunt continues....

I dig that a lot. I was thinking of getting an E39 M5, but I'm not baller enough for M-badged repairs.
stanceworks: I don't really fit in.

            HUH?

I dont see how getting wheels for E39 is any harder than getting wheels for VW Golf.

I should clarify that I am saying this regarding the used wheels. There doesn't appear to be a large market of 5x120 AND 74.1 bore wheels. There are tons of options tailored to the E46 M3 and I can run these with some adapters (or bore them out but then my market for selling would be much smaller) but the problem is the front ET is often too high. There are some E9X M3 and E60 M5 options but those wheels are often in the 20" size.

If I am missing something or you have some secrets to share with a fellow E39 brother, please do share!

I didnt realize you were talking about used wheels.
E90's run good offsets for e39's. just have to use spacer in the front. E90/92 rear fitment is pretty much identical to E39 fitment. E90 front is 15-20mm too high for E39.
I dont know much though. So take it for what its worth.
