lets backtrack for a moment, shall we . . .

so a page ago, I dismounted my tires, took a torch that I rented & some hefty grit on my sander, & went to do work like the wacko playa that I am.

remember? well, this is the beginning of what I was up to. pics are hard to see, but I heated the tires so they'd give much more & shaved the sidewalls for the cleanest damn ground scrappin' hooptie sicko you ever did see.

took about 2hrs. each tire, but makes a dramatic change to my frame banger.

now I know I'm not the 1st to have ever thought about doing this, nor am I special for having done so, but come on guys . . . damn cool! & I bet you'll all bite my mad stylez soon enough without ever giving me any credit, kudos, or a nod of respect.

Fabel. You really need to make a video of you driving your slampiece to truly show how insanely low it is.
I want to truly feel (or get closer to feeling NO HOMO) how low your car is LOL

Damnit, any idea when its back from the shop? Honestly the only thing I H@T3 about this thing is those googly eyes/ face. Just go lower. I want to see frame dragging while static. I don't mean over bumps, I mean sitting on the ground and driving it. Rock on man.

^ thanks. I appreciate you stepping in with a reality check.

for some reason, I get the feeling grant wilson (freshsushi) doesn't like my car too much. it's all good, cause I don't either. that's why I'm modifying it.

I'll dedicate page 7 to mr. wilson & refrain from saying all dem lil thangs I oh so wanna spew out, just cause I'm a respectful lad & all.

in all honesty, I'd rather brag about how Fluid Motor Union has treated me, but will revisit this on a page with less 'noise'. what I write about them deserves to be read instead of passed over garbage that carries little weight like the majority of this page.

I'm cool with people telling me my roadster looks like poop, just not doing so in an attack way, with little weight, or those that care to not be constructive. to me, that's not a true enthusiast. building cars is a process & I honestly never meant to put much effort towards this chassis. it's just what happened naturally. I'm along for the ride & I listen to what I'm told. past that, I have no concerns for modifying it or worrying where we'll go together.

overall, thanks for bringin' some swagger to my thread guys, informing me about a car show coming up, & to Fluid for taking that picture. it may have been closer to a random snap for you, but it made me really happy to see my lil cupcake cradled away in your corral.

other than that, I miss you slampiece & will see you pimps on page 8 if we ever make it that far.

Grant ... cool it. Your picking a fight for no reason. Glad to have you back, but ease up on the quick-action-dick-commentary.

    The header wrap...well...we're good wrappers.

The skidplates don't even begin to match up, and don't offer much clearance between the plates and the pan. So we will be exercising some extra fab work there, too.

Believe it or not, there's nothing wrong with taking your car to a shop for work. But yes, there's more to the story than initially laid out.

After quoting him the price of a CNC mill and raw stainless steel, he figured the shop was the better way to go.
what header is it that doesnt match up so badly?
    odd wheel spacer size?
(just wondering so i can avoid the brand thats all)

weld up a skidplate for him. bolt ons just suck cause the bold heads grind down and make it suck to get back off, and hang lower than a flush welded to the bottom of the subframe

...Oh, the Miata, yeah. It's here for a few skidplates, tucking the exhaust, adding tophats to the coils, new headers and header wrap, and some other things I can't remember because I don't have the work order in front of me, and am far too lazy to retrieve it.
Hhahah, Its german for "five speed" so "funf- Gang".
