I like the shaved sidewalls gives it a fresh rubber clean look to it. A video trying to get it ramp into the shop would ba a great video to show how low it is.

The video will be a definite feasibility, but most of it will be the sound of scraping. haha

Well when i wrote that question i had two things in mind, the sound of the work you guys are doing on the car and the scraping moving this car anywhere around the shop.

Here's two teasers for you, Fabel:

Next step is taking the Equips and drilling them out to 5x114.5 so I can steal them for myself.

Im with pavel here, why the hell would someone be proud of rubbing? its the worst part about fitment, in my opinion the perfect fitment is really tight without rubbing.

shaving the sidewall vs rubbing it, the shaving is all nice and even often used in the hotrod community. tho the rubbing is normally just in one spot, and quite deep too. '

Its also illegal in many countries to "smooth/shave" your sidewalls.

I didnt touch my sidewalls. The car does it for me, its a part of the lifestyle.
also for oxer, suspension geometry has something to do with rubbing or not, try running the same setup with 0 camber and -5 camber, caster will also greatly help in the front. And who gives a f*ck if its illegal to shave them? most of us, are lower and poking more then the law allows.

I just play man. life is stressful & my cars are the only release I have. so the way I post, mod, & drive is all in good fun. hell, I don't even like my miata & I'm far from a gangster. I just play one on StanceWorks.

as far as being baller, that's not possible with a miata regardless of your wheelset. so you may see me post that I show ball players how to roll while their wives dribble a lil somethin' around my own hoop, but that doesn't mean I'z ain't a laughin' the whole time I type such malarky. just having fun man; I know it's very hard for that to come through on the forums though, so no harm.

most esteemed comment from you though is still complimenting my car even if you can't stand me. I don't know if I could do such a thang, although cars do usually resemble their owners. in my case, just a playa gettin' silly wit it.

yep. suspension well outta whack, but that matches it's personality as well . . . so in my opinion, it's all a flowin' better than a moen.

smooth sidewall is georgous in person & extremely understated for those that care to spend a few moments overlooking a car properly. it's a pretty nutty adventure to go down & it took more hours than if I had body prepped the car for paint, but it's just another one of those stand out features of my ill-logical roadster.
