this is true, but I still dig it some & the 'story' behind how it happened matters to me. I like to talk about it. when that enjoyment fades, I'll be sure to ditch it for a replacement.

you were also correct in your 2nd sentence, but this fender was the result of trying to overtake a semi-truck; nothing to do with fitment. the way I see it, I'm merely 3? bolts & $40 away from a fresh one. no biggie.

this fender just seems to match so much of my care-free enjoy life & don't sweat the small stuff type of attitudes I tend to possess, so erasing it from the car just doesn't seem right to me just yet. although, if I were to merely open up the thread as all of you have, I too would advise cleaning it up a bit. all in due time I suppose. in the meantime:

you're so funny man. you came back to post the same comment a 2nd time? . . . score!

the undercarriage really is well laced. I tried to have the mentality that I would be taking it into a warzone & had to 'madmax' my slammage to ensure this build wasn't a shortterm fairy tale. I still want to make a skidplate for the rear diff as advised by breezy, just been too lazy to get under the car as of late, but I'll post pics of that as well when it happens. I'm sure you'll rephrase your comment a 3rd time, & you should. besides, I dig anything BMW & seeing your E34 sig in my thread is surely welcomed.

thanks! that's really great of you to volunteer your time in bringing some justice to my lil hovercrafting pocket-rocket of a roadster. as you can tell, my pics are very subpar & it would be nice to see this thing captured legitimately in the same way as it looks driving down the road.

really appreciate how genuine all of you have been towards me. I'll be back when I've got a few more pics to share. probably going to be the ones Krolik takes, so don't expect anything too too soon.

so I'm fillin' up at a random gas station & my best buddy pulls up hard literally out of nowhere in his 28lb. boostin' STI. he jumps out, does the slap of the hand standard lingo, & busts out his camera to show me his newest lens. I'm tired & deranged.

while I go inside to pay, he must have snapped off a couple of pics because when I come out, he says peace & roars off into the distance. a few days later, I open up an email from him to find this 'filthy low down dirty but still balleur' sheit :

damn do I love him. thanks so much buddy, I feel you truly captured a bit of my freedom that I have with this car.

it would be cool to get a bit of feedback from the SW crew, but even if not, don't do nothin' in life if ya ain't havin' fun my brothers!

^^ Pretty crazy guy. Super approachable, easy to talk to, tons of funny stories. Only talked to him for a little while but he's definitely impressionable in a good way.

Hope to see ya on the 15th fabel!

Alex is dead on; thanks for the accuracy man.

if I had to describe myself - I'm the guy that likes to keep the music poppin' & surround myself with people that have a lot of 'heart' for whatever floats their boat. respect & making the most out of life is what matters to me most.

it does seem like I'm always on drugs (hallucinogenics and/or uppers), but in reality, I don't touch the stuff, am deeply religious, & never want to go to bed.

for all else, check my video upload on eharmony.

^ thanks buddy. your conquest looks great. I don't think I've ever seen one not beat, rusted, or abandoned. glad to know you snagged a prestine example of a car so many would see drive by & be clueless as to what it was.

let me guess, they'd probably guess it was an old supra or early RX-7 right?

                        in more 'roadster' related news:

some of the guys at the last meet came up to me & were laughing that they could hear my frame hitting the ground over the sound of my exhaust. that's funny because my exhaust is awfully loud to begin with.

I was then explained by a fellow member on many of the forums that there is lowered, slammed, & suicidal. guess which category he said I belonged to?

                        ^ see ^ the ^ frame ^ rails ^ millimeters ^ from ^ the ^ ground ^ here ^. now ^ imagine ^ when ^ 2 ^ people ^ are ^ cruising ^ in ^ it! ^

trust me, it ain' easy scrappin' of stretched & tuckin' 14's . . .

damn man, you've got me feelin' bad now. it's cool that you even care to see my lil go-kart scrape along the road, but mid-week I had taken the car off the road & ripped the wheels off of it.

I'll be taking a grinder to them, painting portions of 'em 2 different colors, & trying to find a way to customize the nuts. blah, blah, blah . . . you'll see.

I'm still going to the meet though, just in another car of mine. please be sure to come by if you hear some dude telling mad stories about anything under the sun. that will be me unless I'm laying on the ground to check out someone's suspension and/ or ground clearance/ wheel fitment.

                            till sunday, peace browski.
