it was very time consuming. i did 320,400,800,1000,1500. wet sanding 800-1500. Then hit them with a polishing compound and then an aluminum polish. It took me about 25-30 total hours to polish all four wheels, not counting stripping and painting time.

It rides surprisingly well for how low it is. Everyone that rides in it for the first time comments on how smooth it is (except for when the frame rails hit the ground). Its way better than my M3 on Megan coils.
