  • few new pics (mk2 jetta content)

    Changed up the covers on my Zenders, replaced the clutch, control arm bushings, axles, ball joints, hub bearings, tie rod ends, tie rod boots, front brake rotors, front brake pads, front brake calipers and machined lug bolts to run these covers.

    Excited to get it aligned and see how it handles with all the new parts!

                  BOOO! Blasphemy! 85-87s are small-bumpered cars, no exceptions. The grille, body trim, trunk area and, mainly, the doors have to be updated to pull off the big bumpers.

                        He's not talking about the bumpers at all.

                        He's talking about the side marking lights on the front fenders - which I agree on. If those were shaved the car would look even cleaner.

                          Oh, I see. I thought he was saying to get rid of the smalls. Deleting the fender lights would obviously require body work, and since the car is all original, I go back and forth on whether to repaint.
