  • Help me ! Rims and Offset question

Hello i'm new here , i was refered to this site by a friend of mine and he mentioned alot of knowledable people are in the forum in regards to poke stretch etc.

I have recentlly purchused a Nissan 350z and The rims that are purchused and want to throw on the car are the Rota Grids 18x9.5 all around with ET 15 all around as well.

I want to have a mild stretch so i have purchused tires size 225/40/18 all around for the rims.

My question would be how far you think i should push out the wheels and what will be a good amount for an aggressive stance ?

I'm a big fan of poke / stretched tires.

If someone could please help me out i would greatly apritiate it.

Rims are exact as the pictures below

Well first of all, I think you should order a more aggressive offset and width. Your going to need some spacers for the front and rear. Ard 25mm or more in the rear and 15mm in the front. I don't agree with spacers so I highly recommend you getting the proper offset. As for tires it all depends on how stretched you want to go.

      Hope I helped a little

With a 350z I would talk to Royal_T ^^^^^ or the swang and bang guys they have some very nice set up on theirs and could point you where you want to go.

apritiate all the comments and feedbacks, how ever i'm limited to the offset on these rims as they make 15 , 20 , 35 offsets so to go more aggressive i was depending on spacers which are 25mm all around for a final offset of -10 .

I have picked up my front and rear camber kits for negative camber just wanted to know before i do this setup how aggressive of a look will it give me.

You don't need camber arms, and a 9.5 -10offset is not aggressive at all for the rears, If you want an aggressive setup I still advise you to look at some more wheel options. This is just my opinion, you can take it for what its worth...

you can fit alot wider wheels with a -10 offset and no spacers easily on a 350z.

I wonder if that Subaru is in Tucson. I spy Arizona plate.

No help as far as 350z fitment.

I wouldn't go any less than 10.5" wide in the rear. Preferably 18x11 +15, but that's just me.

11 +15 isnt that agressive, my friend was running a 11 et0 and it poked just a hair. On a 9.5 id run a -30 offset in the rear, the fronts id say a -10 or -15. So you'd be needing a 45mm spacer in the rear and a 25 or 30mm spacer in the front.

My suggestion, move on to other wheels

plus, to pull of 18's you better be slamming the living shit out of that car

i have seen these on a 350 and the problem is that the G/Z community is saturated with the TE37 that any other wheel looks off because this is basicly a copy of that wheel. even with the proper offset as T suggested it still wont look right. go with TE37s for proper fitment and plus you dont want to put a cheap wheel on a nice car. like i always say less is more and you dont where payless shoes when you have a gucci suit on. good luck.
