People that tell you to sell something different and get what the other people have always bother me.
You might as well sell it and get a e30.
I dig the car. And I know jbody cars are very popular..and you all had a huge aftermarket at one point in time. I never liked that front end over the older front, but I think it would look good tho because of that bumper.. is it a z24?
Most parts i get for my car are either barted or traded for. In fact the most i really ever spent on my car were for the rims that are currently on my car now and the air ride i once had. Sold the air ride to get money for the rims i have now. And the last thing i bought would be the supercharger for it. I highly doubt i would spend 60k on a cavalier lol. But all in all im not one to join the "IN" crowd. but i do plan on moving onto other platforms once im done with this one. But until i am done, i wont stop with it. Like i said before, its either you love it or not like it.
oh and im not as young as you probably think lol. money isnt really a problem as iv learned to just barter my way up to better things rather then spend a whole lot. buy low sell high. haha
Not trying to be a dick, but how old are you? When we were all 16 back in the day my friends all bought VWs except for one friend, who bought a cavalier. We worked with $100 engine swaps while he was buying bodykits and speakers like they were going out of style.
Regardless, 9 years later the kid has a $60,000 moneypit he calls the CavFire... I just don't want you to end up like that, you seem to know what you're doing, but I assume you're young and money is a big factor, which makes the cav an attractive option, but you will spend way way way more in the end on mods because you didn't choose a modification-friendly platform. My $0.02 is choose something that is cheap and fun to mod. With the cost of that ugly front end conversion you can buy three e30s.
I´m sorry but CavFire ???? what does it look like can you describe it ??
I hope I dont ever end up in situation where I have to drive VW/Audi...
You won't ever HAVE to drive either, if you need to stay loyal to BMW you can get a $500 e30 and stay out of the evil VWs. I've owned 8 VWs, my current DD is a 2011 TDI, and I have 3 Mk1 projects. I love BMWs too but your comment was stupid, VWs are great cars.
Back on topic... no front conversion = more $$ for beer and bitches.
I´m sorry but CavFire what does it look like can you describe it ??
He put a wicked sweet sunfire front end on it, and painted flames on it, very expensive ones, he turned a poor innocent $1500 cavalier into a Pontiac convertible. I don't talk to him anymore, but there may be pictures online, I'll look.

I am not sure if I would rather drive VW or Cavalier.
