    Hahaha chill guys.
First of id like to thank everyone for the nice complements. Concerning if it would be built with dirty money well i have no idea about that but Paul is a truly nice guy and helped me out alot so im having a hard time beliving that.

Regarding me selling my precious M3E30 there are some good reasons for it:
    - Yes the car is a historic masterpiece and the moste succesful racing(dtm) car ever
built. Thats why i really can't see myself cutting her open.
    - If you do a transplant on a m3e30 over here to lets say a S50 engine the loose plenty of their value. It's not like over in the states, they have more of a collectors value here and once that is gone.. well then your left with a really overpriced e30.
    - I wanted to have a bit more punch in my car and one i wouldnt start crying blood over if i bend it a bit on a track.

Yes the M3e30 is a lovely car in the aspect of design, history and the way it handles and for a long time its been up there but to say its still one of the best handling cars.. Thats stretching it a bit in my eyes. I know all the magazines and many of the forums try to convince us of that but the fact is I've driven more then 12 diffrent M3e30's. Everything from stock to a pure racingcar made for the ring and sure the racingcars were amazing but so would more or less any other beemer be with the right amount of money spent on it. Don't forget, i own one myself and it got some serious dope spent on its handling and still the first thing my crazy turboloving people said when they tried my new car was - I can't belive how stiff it is and how well it handles.

However, there are plenty of things to do on the interior, I will sell the wheels and buy some nice 18". I want some moe camber in the back, the carbonfibre is getting painted, the cage aswell and the enginebay. The interior will be stripped out and retrimmed in alcantra hopefully etc etc

I mopped the floor with my buddys fairly modded e30m. Woohoo it handles so well, unfortunately it doesn't have the nuts to climb a hill.

Also, being as into the whole "stance" thing as I am, I would take a non m e30 WAY before an e30 m. They look a thousand times cleaner stretch and poked.

It is a good handling car with no balls, I have been driving something similar for two years . They look awesome, but a relatively stock e30 M3 is not anything special anymore in terms of performance. Not saying I wouldn't love to drive one, just couldn't ever justify buying one with how overpriced they are now. I guess its racing history is cool if you are into that sort of thing, doesn't make the actual car you are driving a DTM spec, so it is kind of irrelevant. Now if we want to talk about a FI S52 in a e30 M3 that is a completely different story

^ I already said it, some people just don't get it. Its an old car, the 2002 is an old car doesn't mean it is not a great car and it has a cult following behind it, so does the e30. I have driven many different cars, many much faster cars. None have given me the same feeling I get behind Eve. I understand what you are saying but I am just in love with the e30 m3. You don't deal with bullshit, its a chassis with a body on it and great ass handling. Not for everyone though.

Even though you love it, and trust me I get it (I had one), you can't say "some people just don't get it" when it's a matter of opinion. You might like star trek and I star wars, doesn't mean that either of us are wrong.

While I think the car is downright gorgeous, I can't help but think two things:
A: you bought it, not built it... that car in my eyes will always be the other guy's.
B: The previous owner of the car is a complete cocksucker. I won't be able to do anything but think of all the money he stole from fellow board members when I see it.

I know that sucks to hear, but I can't help it.

Yeah but in order to have your own opinion you need to first hand drive it. We grew up reading magazines that say "this car handles like its on rails" or "this car is a boat" but until you drive the car you dont understand the concept. You have to drive the e30 m3 to understand it, because yeah its not fast by today's standards but then again most of the cars on this board aren't fast by todays standards either. (unless of ofcourse they're modified)

A: Sure the car is modified in a nice way but i wont keep it like it sits right now and i'll give it a personal touch, don't worry about that. Basiclly the only thing that will look the same is the engine and the color of the car.

B: What are you guys on about? Could anyone help me out here? Do you guys know for sure this guy ripped of some guys on a forum? Which one and how? I want 100% proof and facts on this matter and no guessing or speculating.
