Road Atlanta 2009.... Wet Edition.

I didnt get to take as many pics as I wanted to because of the rain but I got some decent ones. Most of them are from under the EZ up since it was a monsoon. This was also my first time taking pics at a race and panning so they are not so hot, but better than nothing. Enjoy.























































































Then the weather became terrible and the race was red flagged. We droped the ez up all the way down and hung out until 9ish when they called the race over. My buddy Robbie rocking his custom poncho.

We sat there until they called it. We just dropped the ez up as low as it would go(stanceworks style), and hung out with guys in the tent next to us. They were hammered and giving us food. Also an evo and an sti were power sliding in the mud near us so we had some racing to watch.

I had a blast, even if our tent happened to be in a drainage ditch (if you drove under the tunnel Saturday morning, that was us standing there). Great times, but I didn't have a camera. And that 3.0 CSL was so sick nasty. Best car I saw that wasn't racing, and I saw some really nice cars, including a 599.

There were actually 2 or 3 evos and sti playing around, I saw two guys get arrested haha. And was the 599 sitting infront of a really nice touring bus? That one had tags from my home town, one of my buddys that was with me is a cop and hes going to run the tag tomorrow.

Yeah, it was near the Audi corral. We went up there Friday night and some lady bitched at us and made us go back to our tent.

We also watch Truth in 24 the night before one some dude's projector, fun stuff.

Cool pics. Did you get to watch night practice at all? I was there and finished 4th with VW and also got Rookie of the Year for the 2009 championship. Was P2 in qual but the rain sucked big time in the morning of the race.
