RFC - I think you might want to hit the Hot Import Night circuit or a more aggresive "show" because just about everyone involved in tailored or shows like it is about the community, kicking it, and having a good time. Its evident your in it for your car, which is awesome if thats what you love, but these "shows" clearly aren't for you.

Not to mention the guy is a complete clown, he sent me that PM which I posted earlier, my response was simply "Youre a clown" he responded with "I'll give you a chance to say that to my face" seriously... I thought we were over the e-threat days... whatever... clown. Im done.

I had an amazing time at the show, lets keep the pics coming... and please if you did take a pic of the white FC... lets get creative with photoshop... or MS Paint... or whatever your prefered method of photo destruction.

E-threat....................really. Calling me a clown on a forum is e-thuggery at its finest. I live in the same area as you buddy. Just saying that when the time comes I'll give you the oppurtunity to call me a "clown" to my face. Thats all really. I clearly stated why I posted about the lack of pictures. If you guys want to take that as me being a bitch or whatever names you wan't to call me over a forum then so be it. I really don't understand all the name calling in such but if you feel good about talking shit about someone on the internet more power to you.

Seriously though, I pushed Stephen in the direction of the Tailored threads to show that all I saw was bitch bitch bitch I have sand in my vagina because no one took pictures of my fc. He doesn't understand that his car has like a 5% following in the stance community. So obviously, not EVERY person with a "big expensive camera" will be taking pics of it.

Great discussion guys. Nice to have feedback from Jeremy, he certainly has the experience to pull from. I remember the days of the Mk2, always loved that car.

I was unable to make it due to a hangup with my adapters but have seen nothing but positive aspects in photos and am looking forward to making it next year!

Yes, that was the reason I replied and tried to take a constructive tone as opposed to bashing. I was tempted to say how the commentary was coming across, but someone did that in another thread. That said, I do like the RX7 a lot - it is probably the best RX7 I have seen of that vintage, ever. Having judged shows I realize this is an underappreciated job and there is always 'that one guy' who feels cheated with the process.

If the name you omitted to protect the innocent was mine, then I agree with him - tons of beautiful cars there and I was amazed I got anything. Though I do tend to try and pay attention to the details, display and safety items for the points game.

Apologies if I offended you. I thought I was fair in my feedback, not negative. I am used to project and event management in my profession and having a bit of a post-mortem participant feedback is normal in order to make the next iteration stronger. I enjoyed the event a lot (though regretfully had to leave early to tend to my kids) and think with a few minor optimizations and a bit more communication, it would be perfect.

Your high if you think every car was judged at StanceWars. I literally watched tolliver and the other guy walk around. They looked at maybe 8 cars where the other guy was putting in info on his Ipad. .....'s car wasn't even in the top 5 in stance at that show sorry. I for one will never go to another one of Tollivers events...
