Oxford Green Metallic II E46 M3 and Work Brombacher's
My whole thought process on the tinted tail lights was to make the amber pop more. I wanted to keep the colors to a minimum. In this case green and amber(orange). I figured green and red would be like Christmas. Plus amber is a closer color to the interior, which is cinnamon.
The lights in your signature pic look waaaaaaaaaay better IMO. The color of the tails is never as much of an issue as the contrast. For examples: lightly smoked tails look great on red because it breaks the redness up and gives more contrast, smoked also look pretty good on white/silver with supporting mods. But on darker colors, the smoking makes the tails lose their contrast and your eyes sorta get lost in the rear end of the car. I'm sure in person it looks completely badass sitting on the street and rolling around with the sun hitting it, but in principle and in pictures, it bothers me quite a bit
IMO the best look for the car would be keep the orange brakes (to match the interior, and because they are awesome), smoked corners and sides, and clear LED tails. I really like the amber too, but with the orange brakes and cinnamon interior it all starts to get a little tacky for me, looks like it's trying really really hard to match colors rather than look as good as possible.
Still though this is in the top 3 M3s for me right now. But for that very reason I have to nitpick a whole crap ton What are your plans to move the front wheels inward a bit? Normally I'd say it just needs a bit more camber, but yours is already nuts so I guess that's not really in the cards
edit - When I look at this picture with the flash reflecting off the taillight, I love the whole look. So maybe just a lighter smoke on the tails would be perfect for me
Shut the fuck up about the lights guys, we get it lol.
Love it man, I remember you posting up on BF.c a bit back and I liked your car and the theme you were trying to pull off, but something was just missing with the old grey wheels you had (forget what make they were). This really takes it to the next level, and the orange/green theme works well.
