that's an active autoworks sticker i spy. what's backing it up?

but i love the ride height. smaller wheels and more paint up front would make this my favorite e46

Carbon fiber can be painted, too. So you get the effects of the weight reduction, without the overdone CF look. It's also quite cool to expose subtle hints of the CF. Example - apply one of those sweet "illest" stickers some conspicuous area prior to applying a black base coat, then remove before clearing it.
My first JDM project after decades of European cars!

AA stage 1 kit. unfortunately, the kit i have is for a non-sulev engine. i believe the only difference is the supercharger bracket according to jean @ AA. still trying to find a workaround for this.

the bumper and hood will be painted eventually. i prolly won't do the whole sticker thing into the paint. maybe would've done this a few years ago but i'd rather have a sticker i can peel off, if anything. yenno?

i purchased mine from vorsteiner. it was literally the last gtr hood to come from their mold before it was destroyed (the 2nd-to-last hood was literally deformed because the mold was such in bad shape). you can only find it secondhand or you can grab the VIS gtr hood which has a few differences in the vents compared to the vorsteiner hood, but it's the closest you'll find to a GTR hood right now.
