Got and painted the new wheels, let the **** begin.

Driving school at Buttonwillow Raceway this past weekend openend some eyes, esp to the drives of the E92 335i, Lotus Elise, E36 M3, E92 M3, 996 Carrera 4s and many more.

All with a steptronic e46 325i with blow rear shocks and stretched 205/40/17 75 dollar tires.

...and they cant say you cant track stretched tires

Don't worry, the car has been lowered since. Track height makes Allah kill babies.

I also ended the day on a scary note.



I apexed turn 5 too early, tracked out, ran out of room, my left 2 wheels just BARELY went off of track, i didnt realize it though.

I turned the wheel again to go back to the other side to get ready for the bus top, it was here where i was catapulted across the track.

Everything slowed into slow mo, and i understeered right into the infield. I remembered what they told me, and went in with my wheels straight.

After standing on the brake, getting air, bottoming out, and shouting profanitie, i finally came to a stop.

Dust everywhere.

I was given the black flag, returned to the pits, asked what i did wrong, and i knew exactly what happend.

I ended my day 5 laps early. But hey, we all learn.

What really scared me was when Dan tackett told me "if it were at Willow Springs, the car would have flipped. Luckily, Buttonwillow is very forgiving."
