Cut them or Get Coils?

all coilovers ive seen for my platform can get as low as my car on h&r race springs before they are maxed out. most cant even get lower in the rear. should i take the risk and get some coilovers and mod them or just cut like half a coil from these... what do you think?

Looks fine to me as is, think the rake is exaggerated by the photo? If you are that close to the height you want, and the rubbing is not bad right now, cutting a half coil won't do much as far as ride quality.

the ride is close to oem right now, especially when i dont have runflats on the car its pretty nice. i dont think half a coil would change the quality much. i want a little less rake because the car does have serious rake. maybe .75 of an inch lower all the way around

if u go .75 all around, ur still gonna have the rake. just sitting lower. and probably tucking more in the rear than the front. which to me looks like shit. i like the way it looks now. if it were me, i'd go an inch smaller with the wheels, then go lower.

yeah thats the thing i dont want massive tuck in the rear. so my cars like permanently raked due to the body shape. as you can see in the picture the gap between the wheel and fender are nearly exactly the same

i know. i **** how they cut the rears so much lower than the fronts. i say leave it as is if u dont want to go with smaller wheels. looks good to me. if not, well, u know what u need to do. start saving

I like how it sits now, the wheel/tire gap is exactly the same all around and I love rake. Save up, buy coilovers, then figure out how to make them go lower. You have a nice car, why fuck around with cut springs when you don't have to and coilovers are available for the platform?
