Same. I don't know Mike personally, and I'm still very new to this site, but I've always loved seeing Mike's photography when ever I stumbled across it being shared on various sites and blogs.

And in regards to the vehicles: My favorites are the L6 and Rusty. I just LOVE the L6. That thing is tits. 'Nuff said! I also like what he did with Rusty. He was able to turn a tragedy around. It takes balls to be different and being creative isn't as easy as some may think. True, there were/are a few things I don't particularly like about the car, but still... I can acknowledge and respect originality, and a job well done. Congrats on the nomination Mike.

Thats awesome Mike. I don't know what to say besides that. Congrats man!

Funny to see Jon Sibal still there after all these years. Definitely one hell of a list.

Tough choice, really. It's hard for me to decide what make "personality of the year".

Matt Powers came to mind right away.. the way he got into FD as a privateer then got signed on to a new up and coming team, making big waves, and bringing grassroots fun back into FD.

Smokey is a perennial influence on the tuning world, but I don't think he stood out that much this year, compared to others. No crazy antics, no montrous demo cars..
Same deal with Inada, I didn't see much big stuff this year, at least not from over here.

Arcenal definitely continues to drive the trendhype scene thing into a worldwide professional scale, but I dunno.

I'm thinking Ken Block made the biggest wave this year, with an absolutely epic campaign. My vote goes to Block. What he did for DC, Monster, and the Ford Fiesta is just insane. My hat is off to Block.
I agree. Smokey is one of my heros. But, he didnt really do anything worth noting this year
