  • Rollin' back to '75

    I don't know what I'm doing... :-X
It's a '75 240 diesel. Roughly 350k miles. Its rust free short of a few spots on the trim and such... the underbody is solid as a rock. Runs well, just needs an idle adjustment before I'd consider driving it cross country.
The interior is mint- the back seat even nicer than the front... more pics soon.
The exterior is pretty nice- just some primer on the rear quarter on the passenger side... I'm probably gonna paint it soon, get the body solved. Then a drop and wheels. Ultimate daily driver...
    40+mpg biodiesel ftw.

For gods sake do something for the bumpers!!

Other than that, sweet. I was thinking of buying a similarish one, maybe even the lang-version.

When I was a little kid, all the taxis around here were those, beige and mustard colored*mostly.

Thanks guys. I dont really need another project but I dont plan on spending any money on this one, so whatev.

As for finding nice cars, this one definitely has its flaws. The primer in the rear and such- it's definitely been bumped in the back end. I don't really care, it's fixed now short of some trunk gapping. I just plan on doing a budget paint job on it and slamming it.

Well yeah, it has flaws, but it's 75....damn. I mean, interior looks really good, paint job's still decent etc. there's lots of 00 or 90 cars in much worse shape than this.
I'm just letting you know, that you're lucky and i'm a bit jealous i wanted to do something like this, but with e21.
