I still wish they didn't rust it out though but I have no problem with a beat up drift car. I just think the stance needs be dialed to get away with it.

Dont get me wrong, I love Rusty but that list of cars in there is week. i only counted 9 true rats. the rest are "filler"

i was expecting it to be shit when i saw what site is hosting this. whoever put together that list needs to be run over by every piece of shit busted ass junk pile on there. sorry for the rant guys, but that right there is why i **** that site. anyways, IF i were to vote, it would be between the kdf mangler or rusty. those two are the only ones that look like they actually have heart and soul put into them.

i like it but im an rx7 guy too its just so out of the box fd guys usually want shiny cars any purest would **** it thats why i like it its so different

even tho a "Rat-Rods" should technically be "American" cars, Rusty and the Motorfix Corollas are on the top of my list. (i have a soft spot for older corollas)

I don't think a rat rod had to be American (KDF mangler for example) but it has to be thought out and well crafted and made to look scruffy or fancy paint wasn't a priority....anyone can put a motor and rims on a rusty car and call it a rat rod.

Hot rod magazines make a distinction between well built cars and the ones that are slapped together
