Had a good day, lowered Ethel another inch in front, and tweaked the fenders a little bit.
It doesn't feel like a big difference, I guess... but the tires just barely rub on the fenders when turning.
I love it.

Well, I may be trying to sell her, but I still want Ethel to be low low. I've got an itch to go lower, so my plan is to roll fenders and lower the car another inch or so tomorrow or tuesday.
If it's in good shape, sell it on mye28.com
Always a buyer there.
I like the idea of keeping it in the family better though.
As for me and Ethel... Yeah it sucks to see her go, but I'm ready for it. I think I'll be getting something, A) newer, B) a little faster and C) something else to pour my own time and energy in to.
I never expected to get... well any attention for my car. And I don't mean to sound like I feel that my car is worth bragging about, but I've been happy with the car and amazed at the progress I've made. Now it's someone else's turn to have their share in the e28 experience.
Thanks for all the love for me and the car. Actually, the first thing I'm going to do to the next car I get is lower it as far as I can.
So I ain't goin' anywhere.
love all of this man. i know you'll still be in "the game"

aww yeah. i know what you mean about hitting the "price mark" of where you can't justify more.
when i picked up my '88 535is, within a week i had dropped another 2k into it just in maintinance. most in which was not expected. and then all the other stuff like suspension and wheels and new clutch and all that stuff.
i've gone way past that mark. but i want to sell it. but its hard to justify it since there's almost no market for e28's. so i'll just sell it to my brother. keep it in the family, keep it safe<3

jk man i **** to see it go. but i guess if its best for you right now.. do yo thang
I just had a water pump failure and some other little things go wrong. I hit my mark of throwing just above 2k into it, so it's not worth any more money to me. I got my fun and satisfaction out of her, but I think I also just want a change as well.
Welp, selling her.
$2000
just had a new water pump, cam shaft cover, timing belt, alternator belt, and a few other small things. Runs great, handles nice. Will be putting in new lower control arms before you buy it.
There is currently an interested buyer. If it falls through, I'll make a proper for sale thread.
