  • Stretched Snow Tires and 18x10s

Just when I put on my fall setup, the snow hit Seattle. Had to put the wee little 18s on.

Performance fans will like these, the fronts (18x8) only weigh 18 lbs and rears (18x10) are 21 lbs. 225/40/18 Goodyear Ultragrips on all four corners. Acceleration in the snow is awesome when I have traction.

Thats a legit winter setup. I wanted to rock on some stretched winters, but did'nt have money for new winter tires(and I **** driving on winter tires) so i stuck with stock all seasons

                    Looks slick.

Just curious, why such a wide rim for the snow? The car would bite a shitload better with a 18x7 rim all around with a 215/40 tire.

                    /two cents

                    Looks good regardless.
Not stanced, but curious about the trend...

i think the 18's look better than what you had on there previously. makes the car look bigger. :-X

I've heard people argue these things for summer tires, too. Isn't this site more catered to the wide wheel, low offset (in my case 40mm spacing) and stretched tires thing?
