  • Threw the all seasons on the Jag... and a couple more changes

I had to take the summer tires off with the Porsche wheels and threw the staggered ones with all seasons back on. Also picked up a couple of 2009-inspired X-Type pieces - grille and trunk lift.

Looks like the dedicated snow tires may be going on it tonight though.

The front grille looks kind of strange, newer liked the facelift. Could be cause used to own a prefacelift X-type Sport. The trunk looks really good. The old chromed handle was a headache cause there were always rust behind It!!

You got the Sport package front lip, why dont you get the rest of the kit? Mine were all black 2006 2.2D Sport. Lovely car, but Itīs like driving a simulator. No real feeling for the road. Dont really know how the express this, english isnt my primary language. Could help if the steering wasnt so light...

Pasting a link to photos of my old ride. Sorry, If you dont like the thread jack, delete it!

Thanks, I actually cleaned it a bit more after taking those pics. Say goodbye to the hood ornament...

But if I ever repaint it, that will also go bye-bye.

Great to actually meet you. You had the only other X-Type I've ever liked on the planet (I never even liked the Bonspeed one). Mine is a 2004 and I put the front spoiler on it myself. I only like the rest of the kit if the car is black (like your old one), otherwise, it is way too skirty for my liking. I, too, **** the 2008 facelift, but I like the rear trim and this grille (minagallery) has quite a bit less bling factor than the factory one and still updates the car a little in my opinion. I was on the fence with it for a while though - but I'm committed enough now that I'm selling the old one.

Jaguar X-type isnt exactly the first choice among other car enthusiast....
First time I spotted your car on the net was after I got rid of mine. Too bad, cause I love the stance on yours. I got pissed on mine because with the wheels I had on mine, the sides where sandblastered to SH*T. And everyone thinks that if you own a "new car" like this, you should repaint when you get the slightest chip. I couldnt afford new paint every other month, Drove it like 40,000km per year. Otherwise It was lovely, Got arrested doing 210km/h on a 90km/h zone once. "If you own a sportscar like this (beast), you should really consider to rent a track!!!" according to the police! My polite answer was that Its only a Diesel....

Exactly why I bought this. Airbags and good spacing/offsets tends to solve the stance thing. I can go another 3cm lower in back, but it looks stupid that way - even though it may be level (this is according to Ben as well )

I love it when people think this is a sportscar... lol. It just isn't at 227hp and a tranny that won't take any more than that.

                        Yeah.. Haha

Unfortunately, I wasnt in to stance at the moment I owned that car.

Sportscar... 155hp DIESEL!! Haha Yeah right!

Once again, Love your car! Keep up the work man, already a stunner....
