There is no hype about these coilovers, they are amazing. Even the rear adjusters are pieces of art. Everything is soo smooth.Originally posted by Average_Jerk View Postpost up some more shots if you got em. How are you liking the ZeroClearance coilovers? I hear such good reviews about them
Everything is all the way down. I am on 18s with thicker winter tires. This is as low as the coils will go without pulling out parts of the front adjuster.Originally posted by M.Burroughs View PostIf you move the swaybar mounts down, you can bring the front down even more.
Also, I DD this thing like 600+ miles a week, part of which is a 100mile there, 100 back drive on probally THE worst highway in new england. I am headed up that way Thursday. If all goes well I will bring it lower. I am not worried about scraping and shit but the road is REALLLY bad and traffic is at 80+ so I just want to be sure.
Car is going to have a 420whp+ s/c on in a few days and I am on stock brakes so emergency stopping power from those associated pulls might get risky. Just need a few days to feel out my clearance.
Thanks. Yea I actually had a 15mm spacer plus a 5mm spacer up front-- with a 12mm spacer in the rear, but had to run -5* camber to clear.. So I took it out of the front for the time being and am just running the 5mm in the rear. I am going to take out the extra spring pad so I can tuck some rim.Originally posted by balleur View Postwow that looks great.. camber in the rear is spot on and not excessive, id add 5mm up front but otherwise its great, are those 18's?
Yes, 18x9.5 rear and 18x8.5 front. But if I keep these for spring/summer I will take the higher offset 9.5 rear and put it up front and get a lower offset, more concave 9.5 for the rear.
Thanks, glad to hear I turned ya!Originally posted by famguy View Postcongrats. This is the first e36 sedan I've ever liked!
Any day. You going to take your car out of its home anytime soon? If so, pick the date. Are there any meets going on through the rest of the year? I would love to be able to get to at least 1 event this year.Originally posted by skrapez View PostWooooo looks good meng. Glad your enjoying the coils. We gotta take some pics together soon!

Thanks man! Or just remove the sway... I dont know about you, but josh and I both rub turning the wheel without much effort... My end links arent even on right now. Had to cut them off and havent bought replacements yet.. Maybe I will buy the non m links since I need new ones anyways.Originally posted by Ollie View PostAnd there's always the option of going non-m sway links and going way lower. Any thoughts on this Mike?
Car looks amazing. I like the meaty stance.
Thanks. The wheels are different, so is the car and stance. I have to mix it up somehow!Originally posted by BeemerBuyer View PostI love the idea of SW ZC on a techno violet sedan, awesome! Though I'm not a big fan of those wheels.. but thats just me.
Sick car none the less.

Its great. But they are right in their assumptions... problem is, they are assumptions. I thought the same thing when I ordered them, but didnt care because I wanted the stiff spring rates, valving and ability to dump it down..Originally posted by M.Burroughs View Postlol @ bimmerforums.
Looks great!
And for reference, my front end is only halfway down because I'm running base-model sways, meaning no M3 links. I can go wayyyyy lower.... so that's an option for those wanting it.
When I actually installed them and went for a ride I was amazed. I am really blown away. I drove around Rhode Island like 85 miles today, on some of THE shit-iest roads. Even with my 18s, the only problem I occasionally ran into was hitting the top tread of the tires on the upper wheel wells, but that was only on bumps that you would stop and go around on other coils..
