  • Tight squeeeeeeeeeeeze!

I suppose this is why we(the probe community) does not run a 9.5 wide wheel.

Some pics from the summer of fitment

I took these pics at the start of the summer when i was testING wheel fitment and was trying to get my camber settings all perfect, it was the easiest way to see in behind the wheel. thought i would post them up.

    Inside the rear wheel

I know i will catch some slack for the kit and stuff, used to it! The rear bumper i **** now(was cool when i was 17) and is getting all cut apart this year for a rear diffuser. Im trying to plan my next set of wheels. Probably going back to 19's and to a 9 wide. I try to get change my wheels every season, hard being a college student!

    anyways enjoy.

I don't see the problem with running a 9.5" (assuming that's what you have), just go with a lower offset. Lower offset will cause the wheel to poke out more, but if you brought the rear down it will naturally camber in. Put that stretch to use and get some lows.

Yeah, the kit is meh. Honestly, so many people keep their shit stock, body kits are beginning to re-grow on me. Fuck, the ricer movement is moving back.

        But yeah. I dig it.

honeslty, dropped the rear like 4.25 inches and didnt gain any camber, had to get camber bolts and manually add it. and yes thats a 9.5 wide on there now.

Ive been kinda wanting someone to show up working on stance on a probe. Any pics of the front of the car? That rear bumper is kinda nasty lol

                    Thats fuggin tight alright!

Needs less wheel gap, but you seem to be heading in the right direction.. Lower offset, more lows and you'll be golden!

this was my first set of low offset decent wheels. was trial and error as it has never been done on a probe so i took a chance, bought what i thought would work and messed with it a bit. Next set i order at least i know what i am working with.

Ive gotta do something different suspension wise, my front coils are totally maxed out. I can switch to mx3 strut mounts and gain a 1/4" but thats all. The rear has some more room to drop buy the front cant go anywhere so whats the point. Once i figure something out with front then i will drop the rear more.

Im in the middle of a boost project right now, so the suspension is on the back burner for the time being

If you get a different kit and lower the car, it could look really dope. I don't see any reason to go to a 9" rim. What are the wheel specs now?

If you lost the kit, this has some good potential. You should keep the 9.5" width and just go lower offset.

right now the wheels are 18x8.5 front +35 with 8mm spacer ...rear is 18x9.5 +35 and 10mm spacer. Camber settings are stock in the from and just under 3 degrees rear.

Everyone always wants me to lose the kit. And i agree if i got this car stock now it would never have got kitted. But i got it when i was 16, kitted it when i was 17, and its sorta grown up with my along the way, painted it 3 times, 5 sets of wheels. If i was going to go back now to none kitted i would just buy another probe and start over.

The unfortunate part is I am so deep in this car over 5 years that ill never sell it. Im on the hunt for a b5 s4 to daily and than i can get a little deeper in my turbo build and stuff on the probe.

for new wheels i wanna do a 19 again.. maybe 19x9.5 19x8.5 .. do like a 25 offset and then play with spacers a little to get it perfect.

Right now i daily the probe in the summer and drive this civic all winter
